Algorithmic Biology Lab
St. Petersburg - Russian FederationAlgorithmic Biology Lab was created in St. Petersburg Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences under supervision of Professor Pavel Pevzner and Professor Max Alekseyev with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
Goal of the lab is to solve important algorithmic and computational problems of modern genomics and proteomics, which are on the cutting edge of bioinformatics and are source of hot scientific debates. Laboratory collaborate with leading experts in bioinformatics in US and Russia.
In 2011,2012 were working on the following projects:
Novel approach to sequencing and genome assembly.
Novel approach to identification and sequencing of proteins, antibodies and antibiotics.
