Biophysics of Functional Systems

Modena - Italy

Our scientific interests are in the field of experimental biophysics and coincide with the activity of Division n.1 within the Excellence Center of Istituto Nazionale per la Fisica della Materia (INFM) located at the Physics Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The main emphasis is on functional properties of biomolecules and cells and their interaction with surfaces, with a particular interest in electron transfer proteins and their applications in novel hybrid biomolecular nanodevices.
