Phytoplankton flora and periphyton (especially diatoms) tend to be effective indicators of aquatic ecosystem health. Our analyses can provide important information on aquatic ecosystems, and provide data that may allow the determination of ecosystem health currently and allow calculation of change over time. The data we produce are essential to monitor and maintain healthy lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams and other water systems.
