SPIFFA

Mornington Peninsula, Victoria - Australia

SPIFFA was convened in October 1990, incorporated in 1991 and continues to contribute to community education and public debate with the aim of helping to retain the last remaining, greatly diminished, biodiversity of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula region and the Nepean Peninsula, all part of Victoria's Westernport UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. SPIFFA hosts the Peninsula Habitat Management Course and provides a program of free environmental/ecological community workshops funded by the Fouress Foundation. The site is an ecological information, education and networking resource for individuals, students, friends groups, land care groups, students and private and public land managers with lots of content for the general browser too.
